Websites for group practices.

Group practice websites that help each client find the right therapist, show every clinician at their best and send new clients to booking.

No tech skills needed. Your booking system stays exactly the same.

What clients look for in a group practice's website.

People choosing a group practice are really choosing a person. They want to see who's there, who fits, and how to book with them.

Clinician bios

A real photo of each therapist, their approach, who they see, and their license details.

Help finding a fit

Browse by specialty, age group or insurance, so people can narrow it down on their own.

Many specialties

A page for each kind of help you offer, linked to the therapists who do that work.

Booking the right person

Each bio books that therapist directly, and new clients who aren't sure land in your intake.

Fees and insurance

Fees by clinician type, which plans some therapists are in network with, and how superbills work.

Privacy

A contact form that never asks for health details. Intake stays in your booking or records system.

How Stepflow helps.

We rebuild group practice websites so clients find the right therapist faster, and your intake coordinator spends less time on back-and-forth.

  • A page for each clinician. Photo, specialties, who they see, license details, and their own "Book now" button.
  • Help finding a fit. Simple filters by specialty, age group and insurance.
  • Intake routing through your booking system. Bios open the right clinician's calendar; unsure clients go to your intake, in SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Jane or whatever you use.
  • A hiring page. So therapists who want to join you can see what it's like and apply.
  • One consistent brand. Every bio and page looks and sounds like the same practice, even as you grow.
  • Easy to update. Add a new therapist or change a bio yourself with the easy editor.

From one crowded team page to the right therapist.

Most group practices list everyone on one long page. New clients scroll, guess, then email to ask who they should see. A better website does the matching with them.

One long team page

  • Short bios that all sound alike
  • No way to narrow it down
  • One "Contact us" button for everyone
  • Your intake coordinator sorts it out by email

A page for each therapist

  • Each bio says who they help and how
  • Filters by specialty, age group and insurance
  • Each bio books that therapist directly
  • Unsure clients land in your intake, ready to match

Your booking system stays exactly as it is. We just send people to the right place in it.

Advertising rules

Written to every clinician's rules.

A group practice may have psychologists, counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists on one website. Each license comes with its own advertising rules. We build with all of them in mind.

Each clinician follows their state licensing board and their professional ethics code: the APA, ACA, NASW or AAMFT. Associates and supervised clinicians may also need to show who supervises them.

Read our plain-English guide to advertising rules for therapists

What boards and ethics codes often look at

  • Asking clients for testimonials is restricted.
  • Show each clinician's license type and credentials accurately.
  • Make clear who is licensed and who is supervised.
  • Don't promise outcomes or claim to be better than others.

This is general information, not legal advice. Rules change, so always check the current rules with your state licensing board and your professional association.

The therapy website checklist

How do clients choose the right therapist on our website?

Each therapist gets a page that says who they help and how, and people can narrow the list by specialty, age group or insurance. Each bio books that therapist directly. If someone isn't sure, they land in your intake, so your coordinator can match them.

Does intake routing change our booking system?

No. Your booking system, calendars and intake stay exactly as they are, whether that's SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Jane or something else. We just link each button to the right place in it.

We hire often. Can we update bios ourselves?

Yes. Add a new therapist, change a photo or update specialties with the easy editor. Or ask us, on the care plan or as a one-off update.

Can you add a hiring page?

Yes. A page about what it's like to work with you, who you're looking for, and how to apply. It helps you attract therapists who fit.

Our therapists have different licenses. Does that matter?

Yes, a little. Each license has its own board and ethics code, and associates may need to show who supervises them. Check the current rules with each board. We build every bio to follow them.

Can we show client reviews?

Usually not. Therapist ethics codes restrict asking clients for testimonials. Check the current rules with your state licensing board and professional association.

Which states do you work in?

All of them. We work with practices across the US, including groups with clinicians licensed in more than one state.
