A small studio, only for therapists.

Stepflow Studios builds websites for therapists, group practices and insurance-based clinics across the US, on whatever booking system they use. We're small and founder-led, so you talk to the person doing the work.

A safe place to start.

From Alex

Why I started Stepflow.

"Hi, I'm Alex. I started Stepflow after watching therapists pay every month for websites that were slow, hard to update and didn't belong to them."

I kept meeting the same people. A therapist who'd paid for years and still couldn't change her own hours. A counselor whose website took so long to open that new clients gave up. A practice manager answering "Are you in network with my plan?" all day, because the website never said.

None of them needed anything fancy. They needed a website that opened quickly, answered people's questions, showed up when someone nearby searched, and belonged to them.

So that's all I do. I only work with therapists and health practices, so I already know booking systems, insurance pages, privacy and your profession's advertising rules. You don't have to explain your work to me before we can talk about your website.

Why Stepflow exists.

Most therapist websites are rented. You pay every month, forever, and if you stop paying, the website goes away.

Rented therapist website services like TherapySites and Brighter Vision list plans of $69–$179 a month. Over three years, that's $2,484–$6,444, and you still don't own anything. (As listed on their websites, October 2026. Some also charge setup fees.)

We think a practice should own its website the way it owns the chairs in its office. You pay once. It's put in your practice's name. If you ever want to work with someone else, you take it with you.

Renting vs owning

One payment. Then it's in your practice's name, like getting the keys.

Private. Gentle. Clear.

Your clients are often nervous when they first look you up. These three values shape every website we build, and how we work with you.

Private

Your clients' trust comes first. We never touch your booking system or client records, your website stores no client information, and no contact form asks for health details.

Gentle

Calm design, warm words, no pressure. On your website and in how we talk to you. No hard sell, ever.

Clear

Plain words, no tech talk. Clients know what happens next. You know what you're paying, what you own and what we're doing.

Who we work with.

Therapists, group practices and insurance-based clinics across the US, from solo private practice to multi-clinician teams, on whatever booking system they use.

  • Practices in all 50 states
  • Any booking system
  • Working with practices in every state, by video call and email

How we work.

  • You see it before you pay. A preview of your new homepage, made from your own words and photos. If you don't love it, you owe nothing.
  • We do the work. You review and say yes. No tech skills needed.
  • One clear, fixed quote. One payment, after your free check. No surprise bills.
  • Your booking keeps running. Your booking system, schedule and client records are never touched.
  • Then it's yours. Put in your practice's name, with an easy editor.

How it works, step by step

What we won't do.

A few promises, so you know exactly where you stand.

No lock-in

The website is in your practice's name. Leave whenever you like, and take it with you.

No monthly fees

One payment. The only ongoing cost is your web address, about $20–30 a year.

No hype

No "number one on Google" promises. Nobody can honestly promise that. We show you real measurements instead.

No fake reviews

We never write or buy reviews, for us or for you.

Let's talk about your practice's website.

Start with a free website check. You'll get a simple report, and we can take it from there, with no pressure.

Free. See your new homepage before you pay, and owe nothing if you don't love it.
